This unique challenge brings 17 entrepreneurs from the food industry together, who will now cover 350 challenging mountain bike kilometers in the beautiful south of Uganda in November. This race is more than just adrenaline – it’s an opportunity to positively change the lives of underprivileged people in Uganda and Kenya.
Bake for Life has been around since 1999 and builds bakeries in the African countries of Uganda and Kenya. Disabled people, orphans, child soldiers, single mothers and people who had to leave school at a young age due to circumstances, work here and learn the baker’s trade. Learning this traditional bakery craft gives these people an honest living. By baking, they earn a salary with which they can support themselves.
